Auditions
Auditioning for ECO is simple and easy. Download your part from the right that includes 2 samples of the general level of music we perform. These samples are around 12 measures each and you can practice them until you are confident.
You can record your performance right from your phone and upload to YouTube or a cloud service such as One Drive, Google Drive, Drop Box, ect. and past the link(s) to your audition. You can record as many takes as you need until you get your best performance.
You can record all pieces in one video or audio file one after the other, or separate files.
If recording and uploading a performance is not practical for you, can schedule a live audition with the conductor by ticking the box for a live audition.
Parts
For all parts not yet listed, you can still send in an audition that best represents your playing level.
Audition Upload
Auditions are typically the gate keeper for ensembles and can be very stressful. If the audition pieces are above your current level of playing, we encourage you to audition anyway with an appropriate sample of your currently playing level. We are also using everyone's auditions to better gauge the level of musicians so we can adapt music as necessary for the ensemble.
